As a Bzzagent I am regularly sent products
to try for free. Recently I have taken part in this campaign for E45, I was sent full bottles of the original E45 and the Nourish
and Restore body lotion to try along with samples to pass onto friends
and family. I have been a regular buyer of E45's original lotion, mostly
for my eldest daughter who suffers with eczema, so it is a product that
I am familiar with.
E45 moisturising lotion is presented in a sturdy white plastic bottle with a flip top lid. The blue brand logo is clearly displayed on the front along with the product name. I find the bottle rather plain looking and it has a slightly clinical appearance about it.
The back of the bottle gives general information including ingredients list, precautions and directions for use. Once opened the product should be used within twelve months.
E45 claim that this lotion will soothes, softens and relieves dry and sensitive skin. It has been dermatological tested and has been allergy screened. It has a non - greasy formula which is perfume free. The product is suitable for "the whole family, including babies".
The lotion itself is white in colour and of a slightly thin consistency, it has no scent.
I have been exclusively using this E45 lotion for a week now and have been happy with the results. My skin type is "normal" perhaps a little dry in the colder frostier months, E45 has left my skin feeling soft and well moisturised. The lotion is absorbed quickly and leaves no unwanted sticky after residue on the skin. I particularly like how the product can be used all over the body and the face as well which makes it a rather versatile time saving product. I tend to go for quite heavily fragranced lotions but do find that a fragrance free lotion works well whilst wearing perfume as there is no possibility of any fragrances clashing. Whilst I like using the E45 lotion it is not quite as indulgent as I like so personally I would probably not use it on a regular basis.
As mentioned earlier my eldest daughter (9) has also been using the E45 cream. She suffers quite badly with eczema which causes her great discomfort. E45 has worked brilliantly at relieving any dryness and the lotion soothes her skin. It also leaves her skin soft and well moisturised. She has very sensitive skin but the E45 is so gentle that she have not experienced any adverse reactions whilst using.
E45 moisturising lotion is a product I have bought many times in the past, mostly for my daughter and one which I will continue buying in the future.
